Event Sponsorship

Over 500 individuals, businesses and volunteers attend Legal Aid's two major annual fundraising events. Participants come from the legal profession, Sonoma County Superior Court, accounting firms, banking, the hospitality industry, and a wide range of other businesses. Sponsoring a fundraising event provides an excellent opportunity to network with these community leaders while supporting Legal Aid's vital community services.

LEGAL AID GOLF CLASSIC TOURNAMENT

Your Golf Tournament Sponsorship helps support Legal Aid's biggest single annual fundraiser. Now in its 16th year, the Golf Classic raises over $70,000 for our three core programs, funds that help over 6,000 Sonoma County residents each year to meet basic needs for food, safety, and shelter. Held each September at one of the County's finest golf courses, the Legal Aid Golf Classic features 18 holes with cart, games/prizes, lunch, happy hour and raffel. The tournament is put on by a committee of Legal Aid staff and community volunteers. Individual Sponsors:

Golf Tournament Donation Opportunities:

Auction Donor: Past donations have included golf packages, kayaking and biking trips, wine country dining experiences, premium tickets to Bay Area sporting events, original artwork, car detailing and many other items.

Wine and Beer Donations: Legal Aid welcomes donations of wine and beer from local wineries and breweries. The event features beverage service at lunch and dinner, as well as on course beverage stations, a "wine hole", and roaming "beer carts" – multiple opportunities for attendees to sample your wares!

All Donors are acknowledged on Signs and in the Event Program at the event. Donations of goods or services may be tax-deductible.

LAWYERS WITH HEART

Lawyers with Heart is a gala Valentine's Day themed evening featuring musical entertainment provided by members of the legal community (with celebrity guests), dinner, fine local wines, and Live Auction. This event has sold out in the past 5 years, raising over $40,000 for our core programs. As with the Golf Classic, Lawyers With Heart is put on by a committee of volunteers and performers assisted by the Legal Aid staff. Volunteer opportunities include performing in the show, assisting with food and wine, decorations or staging of the show.
